What began as a small, hands-on business has grown into a respected building services provider, trusted by clients across the North West for our expertise, consistency, and integrity.
Over the years, we’ve evolved to meet the needs of a changing industry — expanding our services, investing in our people, and building the capability to deliver complex mechanical projects across both public and private sectors. Today, CPL works with local authorities, schools, hospitals, housing providers, and contractors, combining technical know-how with a down-to-earth, client-first approach.

We currently undertake a full spectrum of Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Building Services operating within a 75 mile radius of our Preston base. We have dedicated estimating, project administration and installation teams along with a range of support staff.
Our in house facilities allow us to fully project manage the delivery of complex heating and ventilation systems, domestic water services, and public health systems whilst making use of our established supply chain to carry out air conditioning, BMS Controls, insulation, medical gases, electrical installations and other specialist services as contracts dictate.
We are also able to offer system design to complement our installation service as well has having a fully equipped fabrication facility that allows us to maximise the benefits of off site fabrication. We also have a dedicated service and maintenance department which offers 365 day emergency cover.
All of our schemes are delivered with passion, integrity and excellence by our qualified engineers who have vast experience dealing with projects ranging in value from £500 to over £1,000,000.
Our trading partner Halsall Heating is able to offer a full range of domestic services utilising the same skills and values that CPL Building Services encourage. Halsall Heating is MCS accredited and offers a complete Renewable Energy service, from the initial Green Deal assessment through to project completion.
